When we first brought Emma home from the hospital, Toby the cat, pretty much ignored her and us for the first several weeks. It wasn't until well into the second month that he decided that he wanted attention and is now pretty much back to his normal self. He seems to ignore Emma for the most part. Every once in a while he will check her out, but really doesn't seem to care to much about her.
John is still by far his favorite person. Here is a photo when he crawled up on John's lap while John was putting Emma to sleep. This maybe one of the only photos of Toby and Emma for a long time.
Chloe has been great with Emma. She is both very protective and jealous of her. She is never far from Emma, John or I. She even has a dog bed in the nursery which is used by both her and Toby all the time. I am so excited to watch Chloe and Emma play in the coming months as Emma gets older.
The best part for Chloe though is that she gets to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house everyday with Emma and watch for squirrels in their yard. Because she no longer is staying in her crate all day long, she does not get as much nap time. Watching the squirrels and less nap time means that she is completely exhausted by the end of the day just like John and I. It is very cute to watch her pretty much collapse into bed at night.
She used to hate having her photo taken, but now she has to be in every photo that we take of Emma. So this will be only one of many photos of Emma and Chloe!
